Background:AGR2 and C4.4A were investigated as prognostic factors because of their apparent association with tumorigenesis. However, the effect of AGR2 and C4.4A in oral squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC)remains poorly understood. The expressions of AGR2 and C4.4A in OSCC and normal oral specimens were examined, and the relationships with respect to the clinicopathological features and patient survival in OSCC were analyzed. Methods:The expression levels of AGR2 and C4.4A were determined by immunohistochemical examination of the tissue microarrays containing 17 normal oral mucosa,7 oral epithelial dysplasia and 43 OSCC specimens. The relationships of these markers with clinicopathological factors and prognosis were then analyzed.
