Objective: To evaluate the expression of matricellular proteins (CCN family) in venous malformations (VMs), and explore their potential association with vascular destabilization.Methods: The expression of CCN1-6 and TGF-β in VMs and normal skin tissues was detected by real-time PCR and immunohistochemistry.After that, spearman rank correlation test and clustering analysis were employed to explore the correlation between tested proteins.Meanwhile, the in vitro studies using human umbilical vein endothelial cells were performed for mechanism investigation.
