Objective To detect the effective connectivity of resting state functional MRI (rs-fMRI) in normal adults. Methods Thirtysix normal adults(20 Male, ages 51.88±8.44 years) were performed resting-state fMRI scanning, and we include as region of interests the presupplementary motor area, right inferior prefrontal cortex, primary motor cortex, caudate head, and subthalamic nucleus. We performed independent component(ICA)to evaluate the effective connectivity, multivariate Granger causality analysis (mGCA) to analyse the casuality between the networks. All preprocessing steps were carried out usin Statistical Parametric Mapping 5 software. Results We acquire five classic resting brain networks, they were default mode network, memory network, motor network, auditory network, executive control network respectively. The mGCA reviews significant casuality between DMN and other four networks,MeN and ECN,AN and MoN,ECN and AN.Conclusion There are specific brain effective connectivity of rs-fMRI in normal adults, and there are significant causal link between these networks.
