The economic relationship between China and the Arab countries is considered as an important component in the economies of both parts.Thus the call for more cooperations in certain fields such as trade, energy and technology has become the core of bilateral economic cooperation.Since 2004 and in hope of enlarging the scale of economic cooperation and to further strengthen their cooperation in various spheres, China and its Arab partners have held a couple of meetings through which the two sides expressed their willingness to continue to promote the development of a new Sino-Arab partnership a solid in different fields-such as politics, economy, energy, education, culture and so on.The two parties also decided to establish mechanisms to enhance mutual investments, to provide each other with better market access conditions according to the current institutions and laws of both sides, to exchange experience in economic management, to carry out cooperation between small and middle enterprises.Therefore, it is believed that the economic relationship between China and the Arab states is promising. This paper aims to examine the increasing of trade tendency and prospects of economic cooperation between China and the Arab states.It will also discuss the reason why China is increasing its foreign direct investments in the Arab areas.As a result we conclude that the economic factors should find a balance between sustainable development and economic interests in the region.
