This paper empirically examines the influence of Culture on Innovativeness and Proactiveness which are key dimensions of Entrepreneurial Orientation.Unemployment has long been a worldwide issues and most government have encouraged entrepreneurship in an attempt to solve this issue.In China in particular a number of policies are put in place to encourage young graduate locals or foreigners to self-employ,anobservationinsurroundingmallandacquaintancesshowsthat most locals do.On the contrary youths on the other side of the globe particularly in Cameroon suffer from what scholars have persistently criticized and named as the white collar mentality.This is the reasons why this research aimed at unveiling the impact of Culture on Entrepreneurial Orientation.It does this in a cross-cultural setting by comparing Cameroonian students residing in China and in their home country.This research was designed and carried out as following,a throughout literature review was done on similar topics which enabled us to identify existing gaps in this field.We went forward by putting up a research model to frame the scope of our research thus givingusandour audience a clear vision.Our research object being students if was only natural to approach them via existing university groups both in China and Cameroon.Our Data where obtained from146administered questionnaires and Long-term Orientation was adopted in stating the four hypothesis developed for this study.The data were analyzed using various methods among which Descriptive Statistic,Reliability test,T-test,Pearsons Correlation Coefficient and Linear Regression Analysis.The findings of this study indicates that Long-term Orientation has a significant positive relationship with Proactiveness and Innovativeness.Hence this study recommended that Institutions in Cameroon fosters Long-term Orientation which in turn will enhance Proactiveness and Innovativeness thus lessen white collar mentality amongits youths.
