Using concrete as a two-phase brittle material, the statistical fracture mechanics method was used to examine the changes in mechanical behavior and strength caused by changes in the aggregate particle size and mix ratio parameters of the concrete, and the theoretical calculations were compared with the existing conclusions. A comparison was made to create conditions for a thorough and in-depth study of concrete strength. In addition, the study of brittle materials like concrete provides an optimization example.
