In order to increase the market share of automotive sheets in the competitive steel industry, which is one of the company’s strategic product, and meet the customers’ increasing requirements, A company decide to build a new automotive steel sheet recoiling line.With the new recoiling line as the carrier and the fundamental principle of project as the guideline, actual condition of engineering concerned, for the purpose of improving the project quality and satisfying the different parties of the project, the basic methods and programs are studied of carrying out all activities related to quality implementation plan, quality assurance and quality control. During quality implementation, based on the identification and sorting out of customers’ needs, analysis of previous quality problems and reason, the customers’ needs and improving of quality problem have been successfully transformed into requirements of the project, particularly function, precision and process of the project. The project team characterized by high efficiency and unity came into being after planing of human resource department. Based on production process and method of process, after the planing of equipment and process control scheme, the scheme of equipment allocation and system control of recoiling unit came into being which meet requirements of automotive steel. In the light of project execution, the management program is established for engineering of project, equipment manufacturing, civil construction, installation and testing of equipment, and completing and acceptance. The design review, manufacturing standard and test plan act as the support and guarantee for implementation of project process. For the purpose of quality control, referring to management program of the company’s management system and perfect them in the light of actual condition, the FAT and aim of the project are finally passed smoothly through the implementation of project control.
