The Shinjinrui are those Japanese who was born in1960s,and came of age during the1980s. They also called “the Shijinrui generation”. The term was coined during1985whenthe Asahi Journal ran a series of interviews with young Japanese.“Shinjinrui nokishutachi—standard bearers of the new breed”was the title of the series by Tessuya. Mediaand public began to use this word to call the youth at that time.Members of the new breed areactually different from their predecessors. They have had little or no experience with thepostwar traumas their parents encountered. Quite the contrary, they have experienced onlyawareness of Japan as a rich country, success and the easy life. For this generation, hard work,devotion of oneself to the company and country, and the sacrifice of the present for the futureare alien concepts. They has casted a profound influence on every aspect of social life. Thenew breed is also appearing in China.In this Thesis,the author examines the Shinjinrui, who they are, why they are the waythey are, the resulting social implications for Japan the Shinjinrui have caused. Through thesocial investigation,we can understand the value theory of the Chinese youth.The article consisted of6chapters.First chapter interpreted the definition of the shinjinrui.Second chapter interpreted the background of the Shijinrui.Third chapter interpreted the specific performance of the Shijinrui.The content of the fourth chapter is about the thinking of new human beings. First ofall analyzes and summarizes the profound impact of the Shinjinrui in Japan. Followed bysocial investigation examined the values of humanity of the Chinese New Human, and putforward some suggestions.
