The research results of the Italian Renaissance crime and punishment rituals are very rich, but these researches do not pay attention to the complexity and diversity of punishing space. The article argues that although most of the punishment is carried out in the central place of urban space, as can be seen from the case of Venice, the manner and place of punishment will vary according to the nature of the crime and generally close to the daily living space of the crime place In the implementation. It can be seen from this that when the power authorities exert influence on urban space, urban spatial structure will also resist and adjust itself. To study crime and punishment rites, we should fully recognize the diversity of living space, behavioral space and psychological space.
