如何在给定的学制内让学生获得更宽更深知识的同时,逐步具备足够的个人、人际交流能力和构建产品、过程和系统的能力,是目前各国工程教育面临的共同挑战。为此,工程教育必须从课程体系、教学理念和学习方法等方面做出重大变革。CDIO代表产品从构思、设计、实现到运行的四个重大环节,也体现了作为现代工程师所应具备的服务于现代工业产品从构思研究到运行改良的全过程所必须拥有的基本能力。汕头大学积极采用CDIO理念,并借鉴扩展它的目标体系内涵,设计并实践
It is a common challenge for engineering education in various countries to provide graduates with sufficient personal and interpersonal skills and the ability to build products, processes and systems while giving students a broader and deeper knowledge within a given schooling system. Therefore, the engineering education must make great changes from the curriculum system, teaching philosophy and learning methods. CDIO on behalf of the product from concept to design, implementation and operation of the four major links, but also reflects the modern engineers should have the service in the modern industrial products from the concept of research to improve the operation of the entire process must have the basic ability. Shantou University actively adopts the concept of CDIO, and draws on its connotation to expand its target system, design and practice
