象声词是说话者模拟客观事物声音的词,叹词是说话者表达自己主观情感、态度或意向的词,二者存在极大的差异性,因此不能将叹词归入“拟音词”。本文从语法功能、词类归属、表达功用、使用场合、语音特点等方面全面论证象声词和叹词的差异性,指出象声词具有实词的全部语法特征,应归入实词,而叹词从句法功能看不能归入实词。同时对邢福义先生的《拟音词内部的一致性》一文提出一些商榷意见,强调语言学研究应注意理论自洽性问题。
