上影厂摄制的《华佗与曹操》,在风格上是一部威武雄壮、大气磅礴的历史活剧。较之前些年的历史片有突破、有创新。但毋庸讳言,其缺憾之处也显而易见。历史题材的片子,既不能向壁杜撰,又不可拘泥于史实而丢弃艺术创作。《华佗与曹操》在这一点上,较为成功地处理了历史片的“虚”与“实”的关系。从史籍记载来看,这段故事的文字极为有限,陈寿的《三国志》(卷二十九“方技传”)中,对于华佗与曹操的关系,仅数百字;《三国演义》也不过千把字的描述。而影片却把有限的史实铺衍成一个洋洋洒洒的故事,足见该片编导的匠心和功力。
