将１９９５～１９９９年滨海地区托幼园所儿童普查耳鼻咽喉疾病资料进行统计分析，发现儿童耳鼻咽喉保健 值得注意的几个问题：①近几年人们对儿童眼保健有了认识，但忽视耳鼻咽喉保健；②基层一些妇幼保健院对耳鼻咽喉 保健未引起重视，且对其疾病了解不深；③缺乏经严格培训并具备保健知识的小儿耳鼻咽喉科专业技术骨干；④缺乏必 要的检查治疗设备，一些疾病未能得到及时诊治。因此，目前亟需做好以下工作：①提高对儿童耳鼻咽喉保健的认识，加 大宣传力度，普及保健常识；②各级妇幼保健部门应重视儿童耳鼻咽喉保健，设立专科门诊，在儿童普查中重点加强耳鼻 咽喉疾病的筛查；③应下大力气培训儿童耳鼻咽喉保健骨干，以适应该项工作的迫切需要；④应积极向基层提供和推广 适宜的技术和治疗设备，直积极开展儿童耳鼻咽喉疾病的诊治，促进儿童全面生长发育。
