今年7月29日至31日这三天,是北京市园林绿化学会成立大会和第一届年会的日子。北京是全国园林绿化工作的重点城市之一,园林工作者和业余爱好者人数也较多。随着形势的发展和社会主义建设与文化生活等方面的需要,专门成立一个学会的时机业已成熟。去年就决定筹备,现在终于正式成立了。 大会是在北京市中心地区北海公园召开的。第一天上午开成立大会,到会者包括会员和来宾共150余人。先由原园艺学会理事长北京市园林局臧文林副局长报告筹备经过,再请中央建筑工程部城市建设局丁秀局长讲话。丁局长首先对学会的成立表示热烈的祝贺,又介绍了解放十五年来全国园林绿化的成就和当前的形势,并对今后的园林绿化工作着重提出五点希望。最后由北京农林局局长汪菊渊教授就园林绿化科研规划的安排问题作了报告。第一天上午还进行了理事选举。 29日下午和30日上午大会宣读了六篇论文,这就是:李嘉乐同志的《城市绿化结合木材生产问题》、 July 29 this year to 31 days of these three days, is the Beijing Institute of landscape gardening and the first annual meeting of the day.
