关于日本左翼文学的价值,历来或褒或贬、莫衷一是。早期左翼文学的代表作家木下尚江的《火柱》被称为是明治社会主义小说的滥觞,然而《火柱》发表两年后《忏悔》的发表使得其社会主义者的身份和创作目的都受到了质疑。本文从两部作品入手,通过对《火柱》的主题和艺术局限的分析,以及对《忏悔》中表现出的作家人格因素和创作动机的解读,客观地认识到木下小说存在形象塑造等方面缺陷的同时所具有的时代感染力和文学史价值,指出明显的创作动机和意图直接影响了左翼小说创作的艺术得失。
The value of Japanese left-wing literature has always been praised or derogatory. The “pillar of fire” by Shang Xia, the representative writer of the early left-wing literature, was described as the beginning of the Meiji socialism novel. However, the publication of “repentance” two years after the publication of “Fire Pillar” challenged the identity and creation purpose of its socialists . Starting with the analysis of the theme and artistic limitations of “Fire Pillars” and the interpretation of the writer’s personality factors and creative motivations in “Confession”, this article objectively recognizes the defects of the image creation of the existence of the wooden novel At the same time, it possesses the value of the age appeal and the history of literature, and points out that obvious motivation and intention of creation have a direct impact on the artistic success and failure of left-wing novels.
