流行病学研究的对象,包括从传染病到非传染的一切疾病。它又可引伸到异常生理状态、阐明疾病的病因和意外死亡等方面,后又从疾病引伸到健康。正由于研究“生理”、“健康”等方面,所以目前很多学者将“流行病学”的“病”字去掉,称为“流行学”。笔者认为“流行学”比“流行病学” The object of epidemiological studies, from infectious diseases to all non-communicable diseases.
