People are not strangers to current flowing in conductors, yet they do not know enough about static electricity and therefore often suffer a catastrophe by disregarding its existence. In 1954, a large oil tanker at a Dutch Shell oil refinery exploded during operation due to the light compound mixture being pumped into straight benzine gasoline.
