每个国家在不同时期都有着不尽相同的文化,也就是说,随着历史的不断推进,每个国家的文化发展情况也会随着时间而多少发生一些改变。众所周知,日本是一个“吸收型”国家,在吸收着外国文化精髓的同时,又将其与自身文化相融合,而形成了至今特有的文化。本论文以“人鱼”为例,把以《海的女儿》中“美人鱼”的形象作为出发点,在考察日本人鱼形象演变的同时,来试着探究自江户时代末开始西方对日本的影响。
