The spallation neutron target is an important part of accelerator-driven clean nuclear energy system.The related theoretical calculation program and Monte Carlo method are an important means to study the spallation target physics of the system.The relative procedures are compared and introduced, The introduction of SHIELD program system in China and its application in the physics of spallation is also introduced.
