南澳县坚持科技兴渔,努力实施“保护近海资源,开发外海渔场”的方针,主攻以台湾浅滩为腹地的外海渔场,实行综合开发,多种作业捕捞,形成高产高效益的生产格局。1984—1993年,这个海岛县从台湾浅滩捕捞的优质经济鱼类达18.79万吨,总产值6.17亿元,1993年全县出海劳力平均纯收入超万元。今年5月,这个 Nan’ao County sticks to the policy of relying on science and technology for development and fishing and strives to implement the principle of “protecting offshore resources and developing offshore fishing grounds”.
