文中报告了中国电信网运营成本概况,主要分析了EPON系统中的节能效果。在EPON系统中,ONU能够在没有数据传输时切换他们的发射机,使其关闭——这种低功耗模式,被称为半休眠模式。说明了半休眠模式和动态带宽分配(DBA)算法对EPON系统的节能影响,对基于使用了3种不同DBA算法的两种半休眠模式“laggy”和“swift”的节能潜力进行了分析和比较,特别是这两种半休眠模式对能源效率和帧延迟的不同影响的评估。
This paper reports the general situation of China Telecom network operation cost, mainly analyzes the energy saving effect in EPON system. In EPON systems, ONUs are able to toggle their transmitters off when no data is being transmitted - this low-power mode is called half-sleep mode. The impact of semi-dormancy mode and dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) algorithm on energy saving of EPON system is described. The potential for saving energy based on two semi-dormancy modes “laggy” and “swift” using three different DBA algorithms Analyzed and compared, in particular, the assessment of the different effects of energy efficiency and frame delay on these two half-sleep modes.
