本文在母语和外语两个学科性质的对比中质疑对外语教育的纯工具性认识,从教育目的、语言本质、智能构成三个角度分析纯工具性认识的片面性,指出纯工具性倾向导致的外语教育实践中的问题。问题的症结在于纯工具性倾向导致学生主体意识欠缺,主体作用发挥不够。经济全球化背景下掌握外语不仅是国际竞争的需要也是受教育者全面发展的需要,在新形势下应该全面理解外语教育的价值,既看到其工具性,又认识其人文性。为了取得大规模、高效率的外语教育成就,必须从课程改革、教师培养、更新评价方式等入手扭转纯工具性倾向,充分发挥学生主体作用。
This article questions the purely instrumental understanding of foreign language education in the comparison of the two disciplines of mother tongue and foreign language, analyzes the one-sidedness of pure instrumental cognition from three aspects of educational purpose, linguistic essence and intelligent constitution, and points out the foreign language caused by pure instrumental tendency Problems in educational practice. In order to achieve large-scale and high-efficiency foreign language education achievements, it is necessary to reverse the purely instrumental tendencies from the curriculum reform, teacher training and updating evaluation methods, and give full play to the role of students.
