Allergic reactions are one of the most common adverse effects in clinical medicine.Anaphylactoid reactions are common immune responses that are often indistinguishable from allergic reactions [1].The clinical symptoms of anaphylactoid and allergic reactions are similar, with allergy-related mediators released via degranulation of mast cells or basophils. However, the underlying mechanisms of anaphylactoid reactions are very different from allergic reactions.Unlike allergic reactions, anaphylactoid reactions occur on the first exposure to allergens without prior sensitization [2].
