“文体作家”是中国现代文学史著述中用来概述沈从文小说的艺术特征的关键词,而这个称谓从1930年初诞生以来至今,其内涵有着从贬到褒的变迁过程。通过追溯“文体作家”内涵变迁的曲折过程,既可以清楚地发现沈从文文学史地位不断变化的历史事实,也可以深入洞察到近70年来中国现代文学观念的演进轨迹。 “Stylewriter ” is a key word used to summarize the artistic features of Shen Congwen’s novels in the history of Chinese modern literature. Since its birth from the beginning of 1930, the title has changed from derogatory to highly praised. By tracing the twists and turns of the connotation change of “writer”, we can not only find clearly the historical fact that Shen Congwen’s position in history of literature and music is constantly changing, but also gain a deep insight into the evolution of the concept of Chinese modern literature in the past 70 years.
