察尔汗盐湖是一个以石盐沉积为主的现代干盐湖。在石盐晶间空隙中,赋存有丰富的含钾卤水——晶间卤水。晶间卤水具有明显的垂直分异与水平分异特征。关于垂直分异的成因,前人普遍的观点是重力垂直分异作用,水平分异的成因是盐湖周边低矿化度水对晶间卤水的补给作用。我们认为:1.垂直分异与水平分异有其成因联系,二者不能分割;2.一些地质现象,用重力垂直分异作用难以解释。 Chalhan Salt Lake is a modern dry salt lake sediments.
