为了合理评价工程机械用发动机(柴油机)的动力性能,对现行评价指标扭矩适应性系数KM、速度适应性系数KV、发动机功率Pe、比油耗ge等进行了分析,指出现行评价指标在作为评价发动机动力性能的量化指标时,特别是在比较不同发动机的动力性能时,忽略了发动机在工作转速范围内(额定转速neH到最大扭矩转速nem)的差异性,因而不能全面反映发动机的动力性能的动态过程,并提出了平均功率PeP、平均扭矩MeP和平均比油耗geP等新指标。研究结果表明:新指标对现行评价指标进行了补充和完善,为准确全面地评价发动机的动力性能及其选型提供了理论依据。
