本文列举英语中的ｒｅｍａｉｎ，ｂｅｃｏｍｅ两组连系动词，根据Ｄｉｘｏｎ提出的有关划分核心／非核心动词的假说，对它们进行了基于语料库的实证研究。研究表明，核心动词蕴含了非核心动词的所有句法、语义特征，反之则不然，从而验证了Ｄｉｘｏｎ假说的正确性
This article lists two remainings in the English cohesive verbs. According to the hypotheses proposed by Dixon for the categorization of core / non-core verbs, they are corpus-based empirical studies. The research shows that the core verb contains all the syntactic and semantic features of non-core verbs, otherwise the correctness of the Dixon hypothesis is verified
