Colony stimulating factor (CSF) contains a group of related glycoproteins that regulate hematopoietic cell growth and differentiation, and its genetic abnormalities are thought to be associated with specific hematopoietic disorders. Granulocyte macrophage CSF (GM-CSF) plays an important role in the growth and differentiation of myeloid cells and also regulates the functional activity of mature cells. Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) is a group of clonal hematopoietic disorders that predispose to acute leukemia. This article examined the GM-CSF gene structure in 76 patients with MDS [2 patients who have been converted to non-lymphoid leukemia (ANLL)]. 76 patients cytogenetic analysis, 10 cases have 5q ~ - chromosome. DNA of the blood samples of the patient’s blood and / or bone marrow and 4 healthy controls were separately extracted by standard methods. The DNA was digested with restriction endonuclease HindIII
