Drilling water mining method can be used for the exploitation of deep buried, evacuated, different size minerals. Under the condition of stable roof of the rock formation, when using the hollow mining method without filling goaf, drilling water mining method can ensure the recovery rate of mineral reaches 60%. However, some of the deposits that can be mined using the new method are often rock-top unstable and allow a top column exposure of no more than 4-6 meters. Therefore, studying the hydraulic drilling technology for drilling under unstable roof conditions is an urgent scientific task that can be extended to use this method
