在党的十六大胜利召开不久,深圳港又传出捷报:截止2002年12月15日,全港集装箱吞吐量达到725.85万标准箱,突破了700万标准箱大关,与去年同期相比净增243.58万标准箱,增幅达到50%。预计2002年全年集装箱吞吐量将超过750万标准箱,在世界集装箱港口中的排名可望由去年第八位上升为第六位。深圳港集装箱运输的高速发展,标志着深圳港作为华南地区集装箱枢纽港的地位更加巩固,深圳港在建设“世界级大港”的发展目标上又迈出了坚实的一步。
Soon after the successful conviction of the 16th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Shenzhen Port made another remark: as of December 15, 2002, the container throughput of all the ports in the territory reached 7,258,500 TEUs, breaking the mark of 7 million TEUs. Compared with the same period of last year, Net increase of 243.58 million TEUs, an increase of 50%. The container throughput of the whole year of 2002 is expected to exceed 7.5 million TEUs and its ranking in the world’s container ports is expected to rise from the eighth place last year to the sixth place. The rapid development of container transport in Shenzhen Port marks a further consolidation of Shenzhen Port as a container hub port in southern China. Shenzhen Port has taken a solid step toward the goal of building a world-class port.
