According to Thai newspapers, it is rumored that Vietnam is negotiating with Mitsubishi Corporation for a joint venture to produce cement. The cement plant is built in Yishan, Qinghua province in the north, with an annual production capacity of 2.3 million tons. The province has abundant limestone resources. The cement produced can be exported in addition to domestic sales. Vietnam’s joint venture with foreign investors in the production of cement for the first time in Taiwan, built in the north of the coastal defense, with an annual production capacity of 1.4 million tons, and recently with the end of a joint venture, is building a capacity of 140 to 1.7 million tons in Ho Chi Minh City factory.
