The Pacococha Flotation Plant in Peru is a copper-silver-lead-zinc preferred flotation plant with a capacity of 125 tonnes per day, located in the Andas Mountains in Peru at an elevation of 14,800 feet. The plant copper, lead, zinc separation using the general method, that is, first select the copper-lead mixed concentrate, the latter reprocessing to suppress the copper minerals, flotation galena. In addition, a single tank flotation machine is installed in the grinding circuit to obtain high grade copper concentrates containing a small amount of lead. The reason for adding a single tank flotation machine is that the copper mineral floats much faster than this lead mineral, removing the copper mineral greatly facilitates subsequent operations.
