Interferons (IFNs) are a group of antiviral polypeptides produced by eukaryotic cells that inhibit the growth of many normal or transformed cells and inhibit L cells (a cell line belonging to normal mouse fibroblasts). Proliferation, stimulation of lymphocytes, and the expression of immune responses and surface antigens. In recent years, recombinant DNA technology has been successfully applied to the production of interferons, and it is possible to study the growth regulatory activity of high-purity interferons. C.U.Ludwig et al. studied interferon IFN-αA, IFN-αD, and IFN-α against tumors in vitro using the Human Tumor Cloning Assay (HTCA).
