Objective To investigate the effect of antiviral therapy on the blood routine of HIV-positive postpartum women. Methods A total of 82 eligible participants were enrolled in this study. The patients were randomly divided into antiviral group (group A, n = 40), postnatal antiviral group (n = 42, group B) , 4 weeks, 12 weeks, 24 weeks, 36 weeks, 48 weeks erythrocyte, neutrophil and platelet count. Results There was no significant difference in erythrocyte, neutrophil and platelet count between the two groups at 0 week (P> 0.05). Compared with 0 week, the erythrocyte count increased in each group within 48 weeks postpartum and the number of neutrophils and Platelet count decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05 or P <0.001). Compared with group B, the number of erythrocytes in group A decreased continuously from the 4th week to the 48th week in group B, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.01 or P <0.001); group A neutrophils started from 4 weeks to 24 weeks (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between the two groups from 36 weeks to 48 weeks (P> 0.05). From the 12th week to the 48th week, the platelet count of group A was higher than that of group B Group, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05 or P <0.001). Conclusions The number of erythrocytes in HIV-positive postnatal women increased at 48 weeks, and the neutrophil and platelet counts decreased. After anti-virus treatment, the increase rate of erythrocytes in HIV-positive postpartum women was slowed down within 48 weeks, but the number of neutrophils decreased significantly after delivery, Thrombocytopenia in HIV-positive postpartum women.
