意大利国防军是地中海地区的一支重要军事力量,“9.11事件”后,意军为有效应对各种传统和非传统安全威胁,加大了军事转型的力度。但由于意大利近年来的军费开支连年下滑,意大利军事转型进程也遭遇了逆流,现在意军必须量入为出、精打细算地谋划其未来。
The Italian Defense Forces is an important military force in the Mediterranean region. After the incident of September 11, the Italian military has stepped up its military restructuring in order to effectively deal with various traditional and non-traditional security threats. However, as Italy’s military expenditures in recent years have been declining year after year, the process of military transformation in Italy has also encountered a counter-current. The Italian Army must now make every effort to plan its future with due consideration.
