该文首先采用奥格登和理查兹的语义三角来阐述了T.S.艾略特的“客观对应物”的有效性并解释了其内涵；其次从三个方面来论述该概念在艾略特诗歌创作中的具体表现：客观的呈现方式；对现实的关注以及视觉和听觉意象的运用。“,”This essay can be divided into two parts. In the first part, with comparing to Ogden&Richards ’Semantic Triangle, the validity of T. S. Eliot’s“Objective Correlative”is proved and its meaning is presented. In the second part, with specific ex?amples, how this idea is reflected in Eliot’s poetic creations is presented from the following three aspects:the impersonal way of presenting, the concern of reality, and the use of visual and acoustical images.
