Describes the overall structural process from planning to experimentation and final implementation of the drilling technology introduced by Oman Oil Development Company and gives examples of horizontal drilling, multi-lateral drilling, flexible pipe drilling, underbalanced drilling and percussion drilling . The annual technical planning cycle begins with a multidisciplinary panel of discussions and culminates in the company’s technical plan, each of which is described in tabular form.
