青海省祁连山南缘多年冻土区发现天然气水合物,这是在我国冻土区首次发现天然气水合物,也是全球中低纬度高山冻土区首次发现。青海天然气水合物的发现与开发具有能源战略、碳减排、促进我国天然气水合物勘探和开发技术突破、带动青海其他资源勘探、以及提升青海知名度等重要的意义。不过,在青海多年冻土区开发天然气水合物具有潜在的巨大环境破坏风险。为了充分实现青海天然气水合物的价值,可以通过将青海天然气水合物开发纳入柴达木循环经济范畴,采用安全可靠的开发工艺和碳减排技术,合理配置资源,推动该循环经济的发展来实施。
Natural gas hydrate is found in the permafrost zone of the Qilian Mountains in Qinghai Province. This is the first discovery of gas hydrate in the permafrost regions of China and the first discovery in the global mid-low latitude alpine frozen region. Qinghai gas hydrate discovery and development with energy strategy, carbon emission reduction, promote China’s natural gas hydrate exploration and development of technological breakthroughs, driving other resources in Qinghai exploration, as well as enhance the visibility of Qinghai, and other important significance. However, the development of gas hydrates in permafrost regions in Qinghai Province poses the potential risk of huge environmental damage. In order to fully realize the value of gas hydrate in Qinghai, it can be implemented by including the development of Qinghai gas hydrate into the Qaidam circular economy, adopting safe and reliable development technology and carbon emission reduction technologies, allocating resources rationally and promoting the development of the circular economy .
