ZrO2-C系材料因为具有很高的抗侵蚀性能,所以被广泛用于制作浸入式水口(SEN)。通常使用CaO作稳定剂的ZrO2的原料作为ZrO2-C材料的主料。然而,用CaO作稳定剂的ZrO2-C料存在一些问题,诸如钢水渗透和蚀损问题,尤其是浸入式水口(SEN)内表面的钢水渗透和蚀损问题。因此在使用ZrO2-C系材料时,防止钢水渗透是非常重要的。在本次研究中,假定钢水渗透是由ZrC的产生而引起的。我们发现使用MgO作稳定剂的ZrO2-C系材料能有效地防止ZrC的产生。根据这一结果,我们做了工业试验,在浸入式水口(SEN)内表面采用添加了MgO作稳定剂的ZrO2-C系材料,试验获得了良好的结果,水口没有出现钢水渗透和蚀损的现象。
ZrO2-C materials are widely used to make submerged entry nozzles (SEN) because of their high erosion resistance. As a raw material of ZrO2-C material, a raw material of ZrO2, which usually uses CaO as a stabilizer, is used. However, ZrO2-C with CaO as stabilizer has some problems, such as the infiltration and erosion of molten steel, especially the infiltration and erosion of molten steel on the inner surface of the submerged entry nozzle (SEN). Therefore, the use of ZrO2-C materials, to prevent infiltration of molten steel is very important. In this study, it is assumed that the infiltration of molten steel is caused by the production of ZrC. We have found that the ZrO2-C based material using MgO as a stabilizer can effectively prevent the production of ZrC. Based on this result, we conducted an industrial test and obtained good results on the inner surface of the immersed nozzle (SEN) using the ZrO2-C-based material added with MgO as a stabilizer. There was no leakage and erosion of the molten steel at the nozzle phenomenon.
