According to the British “Sunday Times” reported in a test bed in Bedfordshire, England, Corso Institute is testing robot farming. The farm’s farmer walks in the field with a global system receiver. The receiver can pinpoint exactly where it is on Earth. When the farmer encounters a weed, he enters the global positioning system coordinates of the area into a handheld computer and transfers the data to a computer on the smart-mop.
