凿岩机主要用于矿山巷道掘进和采矿凿岩,也是铁路、水利和国防石方工程中的重要工具。由于凿岩机在高频高速重负荷条件下工作,零件不仅承受高频高速的冲击扭转负荷,而且还在矿尘、水雾和润滑不良等条件下经受剧烈的滑动与滚动摩擦。所以,凿岩机易损零件较多(8~9种零件),其使用寿命较短,一般都在进尺500~1700米之间,由于零件损坏较快,不仅严重影响凿岩机效能的发挥,增加矿工的劳动强度,而且浪费大量钢材和工时。因此,进行凿岩机易损件寿命攻关的试验工作,就显得格外迫切和重要。在毛主席革命路线指引下,为了尽快提高凿岩机质量,使零件使用寿命达到和超过国外先进水平,沈风厂、哈尔滨工业大学、湖南锡矿山矿务局等单位,共同协作,大搞厂校矿三
