中学英语教学的目的是对学生进行听、说、读、写的基本训练,培养学生在口头和书面语上初步掌握和运用英语的能力,侧重培养阅读能力,为进一步学习和运用切实打好基础。要达到此目的,我们必须在英语教学中既注重知识的传授、对交际能力的培养,更应注重对学生有效地进行思想道德教育。 The purpose of English teaching in middle school is to provide students with basic training in listening, speaking, reading and writing. Students ’ability to master and use English in oral and written language is initially emphasized. The emphasis is placed on cultivating students’ reading ability and laying a solid foundation for further study and application. In order to achieve this goal, we must pay attention to the imparting of knowledge in English teaching and cultivate communicative competence. We should pay more attention to students’ ideological and moral education effectively.
