吴少湘先生微缩版简历1957年生于江西余江,祖籍江西余干,少年失学,曾当农工,泥瓦工和木排工。1978年考入景德镇陶瓷学院美术系雕塑专业,四年后获学士学位。1985年考入北京中央工艺美术学院雕塑系研究生,师从郑可教授。后获硕士学位并留校任教。在中国美术报发表的文章引起全国雕塑大讨论,成为“85”新潮美术运动的代表雕塑家。同年加入中国美术家协会。1989年参加中国现代艺术大展,同年移居奥地利。1990年创作世界上首件用钱币制作的雕塑《苹果》,作品被奥地利国家银行收藏。且陈列于维也纳该行总部,并作为世界上最大的钱币雕塑被载入吉尼斯世界纪录。2004年由维也纳赛夫德SEIFERT出版社出版德文版自
