20世纪中国文学革命的内在动力是文学现代性、政治现代性和经济现代性的冲突。此一冲突决定着文学革命不同阶段的特征。概言之,90年代以前的文学革命由政治化的新文学工具论和美学化的新文学自主论之冲突所推动,90年代以后的文学革命由市场化的新文学消费论和先锋性的新文学自主论之冲突所推动,此间还包括80年代中后期先锋实验派文学自主论与文学保守主义之间的冲突。
The intrinsic motivation of Chinese literary revolution in the 20th century is the conflict between modernity of literature, political modernity and economic modernity. This conflict determines the characteristics of different stages of the literary revolution.
