Zhao regime relocated to Handan after the founding of the People’s Republic of China, and established the strategy of developing Hebei through economic development. After several unsuccessful advancements to the Central Plains, the rulers of Zhao established the direction of the expansion of the north of Zhongshan. The rise and growth of the Zhao regime is closely related to its courage to reform and good at timely adjusting its development strategy.
