Objective To observe the difference of heart function in different body mass index subjects (normal population and obese population) during treadmill exercise test. Methods According to BMI, 192 subjects were divided into normal weight group (BMI <25) and 210 patients with obesity group (BMI≥25). During the exercise test, the two groups were compared to reach peak exercise time, 2 minutes after resting heart rate, systolic blood pressure decreased percentage, heart rate, blood pressure to return to pre-exercise time and other indicators. Results The peak exercise time of the obese group was earlier than that of the normal group, and the obesity group had poor chronotropic heart function. The percentage of heart rate and blood pressure recovery in the obese group was lower than that of the normal group 2 minutes after resting, and the heart rate and blood pressure of the obese group returned to pre-exercise time Compared with the normal group extended, the two groups were statistically significant. Conclusions The change of cardiac function in obese group is abnormal, suggesting that the autonomic nervous system in the overweight group is poor.
