马来西亚是个多民族国家,以马来族和华人后裔为主,另外还有印度人、巴基斯坦人等。马来西亚约有50%的人信奉伊斯兰教,其余多信佛教、印度教和基督教。由于马来西亚人的宗仰不同,吃的品种和习俗各不相同。主要有马来菜和中国菜,另外还有印度菜和葡萄牙菜。马来菜以香辣驰名,多以热带水果 Malaysia is a multi-ethnic country, mainly Malay and Chinese descendants, in addition to Indians, Pakistanis and so on.
