This article describes the design of several new circuit blocks for OLED-on-Silicon microdisplay. These modules include a gate-to-D flip-flop for reduced power consumption, a current mode DAC with minimal spike noise, a pixel unit designed to be insensitive to device and process variations and with a large output range. The article shows two prototypes of the inverted display OLEDs manufactured using the above modules.
