以色列希伯莱大学著名核科学家拉德考斯基发明了以钍代铀的发电新技术,已获得美国专利,并得到了日本和俄罗斯政府的认可。据称,这种使用钍反应堆的核发电技术不仅降低了核电成本,还增加了核能利用的安全性。用钍取代铀作燃料,可使核发电的成本减少20%~30%,从技术角度讲,钍反应堆规格与铀反应堆一致,因此不存在设备更换问题。钍的储藏量丰富,便于开采。
Radkoński, a well-known nuclear scientist at Hebrew University in Israel, invented a new technology for the generation of thorium-based uranium, which was patented by the United States and endorsed by the Japanese and Russian governments. Allegedly, this nuclear power generation technology using thorium reactors not only reduces the cost of nuclear power, but also increases the safety of nuclear energy utilization. Replacement of uranium for fuel with thorium can reduce the cost of nuclear power generation by 20% to 30%. From a technical point of view, the thorium reactor specifications are consistent with uranium reactors, so there is no equipment replacement problem. Thorium is rich in reserves, easy to exploit.
