Through comprehensive analysis of the chemical composition, microhardness, metallographic and SEM fracture analysis techniques, it is found that the high temperature crude gas pipeline manufactured by ICr18Ni9Ti has a serious leakage after 18 months of operation. ICr18Ni9Ti material used in stress corrosion environment is not necessarily suitable for work.
